Whittaker's pulls the famous Toffee Milk chocolate for Kiwis

Whittaker's introduced the Toffee Milk in the 1930s. It is a confection consisting of firm caramel toffee sticks coated in creamy milk chocolate.

Chocolate lovers were devastated after Whittaker announced that it would be retiring this renowned New Zealand treat. Whittaker's informed fans that the Toffee Milk bars, which have become known as one of the three Whittaker brand classics along with Peanut Slabs and K Bars, will no longer be made. We as Stock4shops, a wholesaler, are aware of the market for Whittaker toffee milk. Every Kiwi was considering stockpiling it for the future as the number of inquiries for the Whittaker surged. When news spread that some Whittaker chocolates would be discontinued, people in New Zealand became depressed. To obtain these forms to keep for later, Kiwis conducted calls and sent letters.

Whittaker said in an appeal to sweet tooths that it was a "tough choice," but it also pointed out that other items were doing better than the traditional Toffee Milks. We understand that everyone has different tastes when it comes to Whittaker's Chocolate. The popularity of several of the chocolate block types has unfortunately made it impossible for the company to routinely produce Toffee Milk due to production constraints, and they don't see this changing anytime soon.
